Delete Your Account

Route2Pass lets you create an account to access driving test routes and related services. You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time using the options below.

How to Request Account Deletion

Option 1: Delete from your account dashboard (website)

  1. Sign in at route2pass.ie/login
  2. Go to your Dashboard → Settings
  3. Scroll to the "Danger Zone" section
  4. Click "Delete Account" and confirm with your password

Deletion takes effect immediately once confirmed.

Option 2: Email request (website or mobile app)

If you use the Route2Pass mobile app or cannot access your dashboard, email us to request account deletion:

Email: support@route2pass.ie

Please include:

  • • The email address linked to your Route2Pass account
  • • Subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
  • • Confirmation that you want your account and personal data deleted

We will process your request within 30 days (usually within 7 business days).

What Data Is Deleted

Analytics or marketing data collected via cookies (for example Google Analytics or Meta Pixel) is managed separately from account deletion. You can clear cookies via your browser settings. See our Cookie Policy for details.

When your account is deleted, we remove or anonymise:

  • • Your name, email address, and account profile
  • • Login credentials and authentication tokens
  • • Account preferences and notification settings
  • • Quiz results and progress linked to your account
  • • Support messages tied to your account

Data We May Retain

Certain records may be kept where required by law or for legitimate business purposes:

  • • Payment and transaction records: Up to 7 years (Irish tax and accounting law)
  • • Anonymised analytics: Aggregated usage data that cannot identify you
  • • Legal compliance: Records needed to resolve disputes or meet regulatory obligations

Retained data is limited to what is legally required and is not used for marketing or profiling.
